HexMortar. More strength, less waste

HexMortar™ is graphene enhanced Dry Mortar for shotcrete and pumping applications. Formulated to quickly and permanently increase flexural and compressive strength of dry mortars.

  • Risk of Weaker Structures: Not using HexMortar™ risks creating shotcrete coatings with lower flexural and compressive strength.
  • Delayed Project Timelines: By not adopting HexMortar™, you could face delays and extra cost labour as conventional mortars take longer to reach their full strength.
  • Material Waste: By not using HexMortar™, you risk higher rebound rates, leading to significant material waste and extra cost.
  • Accelerated Degradation: Ignoring the sulphate resistance offered by graphene-enhanced mortar could leave structures vulnerable to sulphate attack, leading to accelerated degradation and higher maintenance costs.

Flexural and compressive strength are increased with our graphene enhanced mortar formulations. Strength benefits are gained immediately, workability is unaffected, and rebound is reduced. Studies also show graphene enhanced mortar provides major improvement in sulphate resistance.

HexMortar™ uses graphene that is specifically designed for inclusion in cementitious composites to deliver performance enhancements. This is ideal for shotcrete, concrete mortar and pumping applications. Graphene powder used is 50μm with tightly controlled geometries.
